Privacy Policy

Author's Workshop does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

Your writing stays on your Mac. Your books are ordinary files in folders you choose. The app never uploads them anywhere unless you ask it to.

GitHub (optional). If you sign in to GitHub to back up a book, the app talks directly to GitHub. Your sign-in token is kept in your Mac's keychain and is only ever sent to github.com. Your book is pushed only to the repository you pick. Your use of GitHub is covered by GitHub's privacy statement.

Tips (optional). In the Mac App Store version, tips are handled entirely by Apple through in-app purchase. In the version downloaded from this site, the support link opens Ko-fi in your browser. Either way, the app never sees your payment details.
